In recent years,popular history has been heating up,but junior high school history teaching is still unpopular.Under the influence of the popular historical tradition,the characteristics of history and the rules of Education,junior high school history teaching is necessary to popularization reform.It means that we need to change the teaching language,adjust the teaching mode and avoid the vulgar tendency to turn dull and profound history class into interesting and useful history class.This dissertation will combine historical research with history teaching in order to rethink the history teaching in junior high school from the popularization perspective and provide diversified perspectives and beneficial reference for education reform.The paper consists of three parts.The first part focuses on the theory of Popular History,including main connotation,manifestations and the root causes of the popular history.The second part analyzes the situation of junior high school history teaching and the implementing condition of the popular history teaching through the questionnaire.The third part discusses the implementation strategy of the popular history teaching:including teaching language,teaching mode and avoiding the vulgar tendency etc.In the concrete analysis of strategies,there is not only theoretical support,but also a large number of cases of proof.
