| Compulsory Education music curriculum standards(2011 Edition) called “The New Standardâ€in article proposed an entirely new look of the content in the nature of music curriculum,pedagogical value, educational philosophy,assessment concepts and other aspects. Meanwhile, its formulation, implementation marks the official launch of the music curriculum reform of compulsory education stage in China. It points out that "Music class mission during compulsory education stage is not to train music specialized talents but for all students,to benefit students from it." As general music culture education for all citizens, the secondary music education, which aims to enable each student’s physical and mental to obtain a comprehensive harmonious development. Therefore, evaluation concept promoting the development of students provides a clear direction for the study.Music curriculum evaluation is an important part of the music curriculum implementation and appropriate evaluation methods play a key role to promote the development of music education. However,problems still exist in the current music curriculum evaluation of compulsory education, such as the music curriculum evaluation criteria focuses too much on commonalities and neglect personality; the evaluation center concerns too much about the outcomes and neglect process; the evaluation content emphasis too much on theory and ignore practice such issues.According to students’ actual learning situation and life experience in Kunming eighth middle school,music teachers’ need and by using teaching philosophy of "New Standard" as guidance,this study aims to develop appropriate teaching objectives,design unity multiple-evaluation standards fully integrated with students’ subjectivity,individuality and commonality, adopt multiple-evaluation methods combining qualitative and quantitative evaluation, self-assessment,other-assessment and peer-assessment, select evaluation content in line with students’ specific circumstances to build a systematic, workable, generalized and disciplines featured junior music curriculum multiple-evaluation model, thereby providing reference for junior high school music curriculum and teaching evaluation. |
