A Study Of Yu Ziyi 's Primary School Mathematics Teaching

Yu Ziyi(1885-1970), was an educator who became well-educated through self-study in modern times of China. In his whole life, career from a primary school teacher to later professor of Zhejiang university, he always adhere to learn on the job. By continuous study, he started from the specific situation of education and researched question deeply, then he combined theory and practice. Through his 56 years research in primary school math teaching, he has made significant achievements in this field. In the long-term teaching process, he has accumulated rich experience in teaching, and formed their own elementary school mathematics teaching thoughts, namely the elementary school mathematics teaching maternal, teaching method and teaching test and so on.The thesis is divided into five parts:In the first part, the basis of Yu Ziyi’s elementary school mathematics teaching is discussed, including both practical and theoretical aspects. Based on the economic, scientific and artistic view of Yu Ziyi’s teaching method, the teaching principles and specific methods of elementary school mathematics is comprehensively elaborated.Actually,he solved the problem of how to teach.The forth part discusses Yu Ziyi’s thoughts in teaching test of primary school mathematics, including the rise of teaching test, how to use it and the evaluation of teaching test.The fifth part discusses the temporary enlightenment of Yu Ziyi’s thoughts in elementary school mathematics teaching.The inspirations are about the teaching materials, teaching methods and teaching test of elementary school mathematics.
