Different historical periods textbook study has important significance for the construction of textbooks and curriculum reform,Different educational thoughts will be different with the idea of writing textbooks,content,form,etc.As a basic subjects of the basic education in our country,Primary Mathematics has a very important role in all the subjects.While the period of the Republic of China is the Transition Period of the Chinese Education.Modernization of the elementary math textbooks is an important part of the modernization of the republic education even has a important position in Chinese Education.In the background of the new curriculum reform,the republic mathematics textbook is an important breakthrough in social reform at that time.By studying the educational thoughts of the republican textbooks,find the characteristics of textbook writing,educational thinking the textbook contains which helps to further deepen the reform of the new curriculum and textbook reform.Select Yu Ziyi’s "Social Arithmetic Textbook"as the object of study for the following reasons:First,the book was published in 1924,almost a century ago,but there are still many researchers who excavated this historical textbook,trying to understand the Primary Mathematics Education Thought of Yu Ziyi;Secondly,education researchers at that time had a high opinion of this textbook.In this paper,by studying the writing background of this textbook,textbook content settings,trying to solve a big problem:how did Yu Ziyi combine the Primary education thought with"Social Arithmetic Textbook"to make which mathematics,localization and socialization.Breaking down the big question into the following three questions:What unique idea of primary mathematics education thoughts did Yu Ziyi have?How did Yu Ziyi reflect his primary mathematics education thoughts in"Social Arithmetic Textbook"What implications do these elementary mathematics education thought bring to the current elementary mathematics textbook writing and the new curriculum reform of elementary mathematics textbook?Through literature study found that elementary mathematics education thought from Yu Ziyi which refers to mathematics education phenomenon in the field of Yu Ziyi’s elementary stages of people’s rational knowledge.The specific performance is that Primary Mathematics Education Practice should be based on the psychological theory education.Primary mathematics teaching should both art and science.Teaching elementary arithmetic should reflect the economic outlook.Elementary arithmetic content material selection should focus on socialization.Based on the research of Primary Mathematics Education in the Yu Ziyi analysis,we analyzed this set of textbooks and found the it have the following characteristics:First,this textbook combine the problem with the reality,reflect ideological socialization.The theme of each textbook content are related to the daily lives of the students,so that students feel mathematics comes from the life and occupies a very important position in life.Second,the textbook highlights the purpose of applying the knowledge.Control algorithms and rules and then extend to the actual social life so that students can not only master the basic knowledge and theory but also apply their knowledge to real social life in the process of learning.Third,It makes the abstract mathematical knowledge to be specific.For children,the knowledge which is close to real life is easier to understand and master.The example in this book is rich in content and images involved,so that students are easy to apply the abstract mathematics knowledge to daily life.Fourth,This set of textbook is divided into eight volumes,each volumes is a single system,mainly use the way of the spiral upward which adapt to children’s psychology and reflect the concept of"people-oriented".This set of textbooks make it long lasting because of other social and practical features.It contains educational practices to psychological theory based on education,teaching both art and science,math teaching reflects the economic outlook,the arithmetic content material selection should focus on socialization mathematics education and so on which is worth to study for us.Articles about writing and elementary mathematics curriculum reform new elementary school mathematics textbook gives the following advice:The advice for the writing of the elementary school mathematics textbooks:First,We should write textbooks from the perspective of the child;Second,the content of the textbook should be authentic and practical,in line with children’s reading interest;Then,Appropriate self-nature should be contain when we write the textbooks,focusing on the combination of inspiring teaching and design teaching;Again,textbook writing should be taken the way of the spiral upward;Finally,the textbook should focus on the economic outlook in mathematics teaching to avoid the waste of education resources.The advice for the new elementary school mathematics curriculum reform:First,the course objectives should focus on realistic and long-term development of children;Second,the concept of curriculum should be free from the traditional knowledge;Third,the scope of the course content should focus on children life,pay attention on socialization and daily life;Fourth,the curriculum implementation model should be diverse to meet the needs of children development and reflects the interaction of teachers and students;Fifth,the content of the course evaluation should be diverse.
