Research On The Management Of Scientific Research Projects In Universities

In the past few years, the funding of science and technology of our country grow rapidly, which leads to the direct promotion of the level of science and technology researches. Companied by funding increasing, its supervision has been effectively enhanced as well. However, the weak of science and technology innovation and the appearance of lots of corruption incur concerns of the public to the management system of funding. The research about the potential problems of the management of funding of university science and technology projects has many benefits, e.g., it can improve the management of funding of university science and technology projects of our country, and promote the efficiency of the funding of university science and technology projects. Hence, this research is value both theoretically and practically.After an extensive investigation of the experience to funding management in developed countries, and according to the related theories of management science and economics, in this paper, we present a theoretical analysis to the status and problems of current funding management system of A university, exploit the underlying reasons and root, and we also explore the solutions to these problems. First, the fundamental management modes of the funding in science and technology universities are introduced; second, the theories of delegating and agent, conspiracy and its prevention, diffusion of responsibility effect, and project management, are discussed; third, the delegating and agent relationships science and technology funding in A university during gaming are analyzed; fourth, the current status of science and technology funding of A university are presented, and its problems and roots are discussed from the aspects of bonus management, the condition of promotion, and the conspiracy of gaming participants; finally, we propose some solutions such as the improvement of encourage mechanism, conspiracy preventing, the optimization of management flow, the establishment of project management office, and so forth.
