A Study On The Cultivation Of College Students' Professional Spirit

A nation strengthens along with its young generation. College students are the future of our nation, so their professional dedication not only affects their own development, but also relates to the future of our nation. The report of Chinese Communist Party Eighteenth Congress pointed out that "Advocating Patriotism, Professional Dedication, Honesty, Kindness, and cultivating the core values of socialism actively ". Professional Dedication is required in the individual level by the report. What’s more, the report also gives a right direction for cultivating the spirit of professional dedication among college students. To strengthen the cultivation of professional dedication among college students is not only the needs of cultivating core values of socialism, but also is the need of Ideological and Political Education in Colleges, as well as the needs of professional-cultivation. Therefore, exploring the effective methods of cultivating college students’ professional dedication and enhancing the students’ understanding of professional dedication on theory and value acceptance continuously, has become an important issue of Ideological and Political Education in colleges and universities.Therefore, based on what is professional dedication and professional dedication of college students, this paper from four aspects of the main body of education, education content, education methods and education objects, firstly, putsforward the content of cultivating professional dedication among college students. Secondly, this paper analyzes the current situation of professional dedication among college students, and points out its problems and reasons. Along with colleges and universities have put attention to cultivating professional dedication among college students, political teachers, and cultivating an atmosphere of Professional Dedication among college students has been set. We should also notice that the process of cultivation is not self-conscious by teachers, and the content remains improved, as well as the problem of unimproved methods and lacking cognition of cultivation. The reasons is that lacking cognition of cultivating professional dedication by society and colleges, faultiness of cultivating content and methods, improvement of cultivating atmosphere, and quick benefits seeking by college students. For the reasons above, by enriching the content of professional dedication in class, putting the campus culture as platform to set better atmosphere, advocating professional dedication among citizens to create excellent environment for teaching, and making cognitive enhancement to develop college students main effect, the paper summarizes the specific suggestions of cultivating Professional Dedication among college students from four aspects in the new times. For a high purpose, it is great for the paper that can be helpful for cultivating qualified constructors and successors for our socialist undertaking with Chinese characteristic in some degree.
