Ideal and conviction education is the core of ideological and political education.In today’s era background, communist ideal and Chinese characteristics socialism conviction education is facing unprecedented challenges. The first chapter defines the basic concepts of interests and the interest view, focusing on the Marxism’s interests, the basic theory and nature. These two chapters form the theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly, we using the method of theoretical analysis, based on outline the Marxism’s interest-oriented content,nature and main features, analysis and elaborate the relevance of Marxism’s interests and university students’ ideal and conviction education.It lay the foundation for empirical research of chapter four and the countermeasures of Chapter five.Thirdly, combine the theory and practice, on the basis of questionnaires and interviews,from the perspective of interests guide,analyzed the achievements and experience and efforts to analyze and identify problems of some Yunnan University students’ ideal and conviction education.Finally, based on the basic theory of Marxism’s interests and ideal and conviction education and its related analysis, for the problems, using interests guide strategies to improve the university students’ ideal and conviction education.
