Frequent earthquake, typhoon, tsunami, debris flow and other natural calamities start to resist against to the Human society. The survivals after the disaster begin to rebuild. What will they rebuild? Who will rebuild? How to rebuild? How to check rebuilding? All of this have become heated research topics in the academic community.Clamity is a process, not an event. Reconstraction is not just the rebuilding of relationship of human and environment after calamity,it is more between human and human. As the victims of the natural calamity is the community subject during the process of rebuilding, they are required to highlight the cultural tradition and convey the implication of "home", reshaping the subjectivity of victims and fighting for existence an life. The other participants like governments, non-government organizations are in face of test as well in conscience and wisdom.The research has a deep inspection and analysis on this typical case and conduct in-depth analysis on the research takes "Rirani" tribe rebuilding after Morakot typhoon as the case on the basis of using the research result of relative fields’research result at home and abroad, exploring the problem of rebuiding subject, Taiwan indigenous cultural rights and subjectivity problems community rebuilding and distaster-affected victims subjectivity. This thesis based on the immediate need and appeal of the rebuilding subject-victims.In the view of this study, the concept of "home" for the Taiwan Indigenous is different from that of "home" for the government and mainstream society which not only includes visual housings, public space and plough, etc, but also the end-result of soul. However, Taiwan indigenous experience such a special and rough history from Hollands colonization, Qing regime control, Japanese colonial era, reign of Nanjing Government to democratization Taiwan society. The indigenous activity went through different phases "rectification of name ","return my land" to the "tribalism" nowadays. In the appeal of "returning home" after the Morakot typhoon, not only a home with Taiwan indigenous traditional culture, which differs from what the government civil group and mainstream society understand is required, but also returning back to the independence, self-determination living conditions and arguing against the outside interference and reign, managing their life themselves is needed. Therefore we can conclude that the indigenous express their strong cultural appeal and exists rights upholding.The paper is composed of three parts:introductory theory,body and conclusion. The main contents of each part is as follows:The first part is the introductory theory. This part is the contents of the chapter 1 which make an introduction on the origin and meaning of the study and further make a review on the relative research result and literature, making a explanation and introduction on the research perspective, research method, major concept as well as the respondents.The second part is the body, which is divided into three chapters to give an account of the after-calamity background and process of Rinari, among which the chapter 2 is the rebuilding activities under the guidance of exterior power. The chapter presents the participation and attention to the Rilina post-disaster reconstruction activities of Taiwan local government, civil body, specialists and scholars and other external powers. Chapter 3 is the appeal of rebuilding of the Morakot typhoon. This chapter reflect in by combining Taiwan indigenous sports history and the awakening of indigenous subject consciousnes. Chapter 4 is the contradiction and reconciliation of the post-disaster reconstruction of Rirani This chapter teases out the problem exposed in the post-disaster reconstruction through the understanding of the Rirani indigenous to the "home" and the theory of "homeland building" in the perspective of local knowledge as well as the process of dispute and compromise of the three tribes staying in Rirani after the disaster:Makazayazaya, Davalan and Kuchapogan.The third part is the conclusion and discussions, it’s also the Chapter 5 of this article. This part analyzes the relationship of the post-disaster reconstruction and local knowledge, especially the importance of the local knowledge in the post-disaster reconstruction.
