Today, there is a common view that peasants need to adapt to the market economy and its advanced production methods. However, as a matter of fact, peasants have already been adapted to these requirements. Since the opening of the market, the peasants have broken the shackles of their land and rush into the city’s industrial labor market ever since the market-building began. For the convenience to enter the labor market, a large number of peasants migrate from remote mountainous regions to those rural areas near the cities, where have much more convenient traffics. After their migration, they cannot obtain the rights as the locals because of the deficiency of household registration status and the property rights arrangement, they also could not get into the local administrative management system, even there were several conflicts caused by social exclusion. This paper is showing the dilemma and its roots which faced by the peasants in current market-society through investigate the livelihood, before and after the migration, of those peasants who come from Lagusa in Heai township of Mianning county.Since around 2000, the villagers of Lagusa gradually migrated to those rural areas near the Town of Mianning County. There are no more villagers living in Lagusa by 2015. However, the population dispersion didn’t lead to the Lagusa’s disintegration. On the contrary, village cadres and villagers are both making efforts to maintain the Lagusa’s exists, they even start to "construct" the home place by build a village road. Not only that, villagers are positively developing the social relations with others who also came from mountainous areas, meanwhile, they are also strengthening the original social relations they had before, this made those people who emigrated from the mountains areas one community just for help each other when facing difficulties. The direct reason of this is that the property rights of the houses and land which immigrants bought are didn’t recognized by the state. They also did not get the status in the immigration place, so they cannot get into the local administrative system. Not only that, the local peasants began to resist their arrival when more and more immigrants came, the locals take interventions on their house-build and herding, sometimes even charged road tolls. All these actions reflected that rural system and market rules are not fit in market society of our country. Peasant’s purchase of house and land is a kind of commodity trade under market rules, but there are tensions between individual property rights and collective property rights which involved in these trade case. The locals find the logic to boycott the arrival of immigrants from "the sense of territory". The immigrants could not get the allocation of national resource because of the social exclusion and boycott. As a group of peasants who got away from their homeland to get into labor market, when facing the unsteady labor market and the uncertain future, the only way they can choose is try to maintain their own village. Judging from this, we could get the point that the peasants have already adapted to the rules of market, the real problems are household registration system and property rights arrangement. These problems make peasants could not get the allocation of national resource and limited their further marketization.
