The Mathematics Diaries comply with the trend of the new curriculum reform and realize the request of the new curriculum standard. Through Mathematics diaries teachers can go into the inner world of the students, understand the students’ harvest and confusion, and comprehend the students’ emotional changes. Thus, they can design and organize teaching methods. Therefore, this study starts from the practical experience and penetrates into class teaching, using literature review method, semi structure interview method, action research method and practical experience to develop the teaching of mathematics diaries in lower grades in the primary school.The results of this study are as follows: The types and functions of Mathematics Diaries are summed up by the methods of document retrieval and practical teaching experience. According to the interview of the semi structural, the teachers and students’ cognition and doubt about the mathematics diaries are summarized. According to practical teaching experience and action research method, the implemented strategy of mathematics diaries teaching method is set up. Specific as follows: The implemented strategy of mathematical language training;the implemented strategy of providing reference sample;establish the strategies of writing model;the implemented strategy of getting rid of writing model.It is hoped that the research results of this study can provide valuable reference for the first line teachers’ mathematics diary teaching.
