Discipline construction is the important aspect of higher education research. There is a closely relationship between the development of higher education and development of pedagogy. The research of higher education need to stick to the subject of pedagogy. Pedagogy is called an exotic subject for Chinese vividly. In the hundred years of construction and development of Chinese pedagogy, the localization of pedagogy is the theme from the very beginning.After the founding of People’s Republic of China, faced with all kinds of impression from imperialist countries and the development of various undertakings in our own country that we made a decision on studying Soviet Union.During this time, the Soviet pedagogy had been introduced to China. The research of pedagogy localization of this period in our country will have certain enlightenment and reference in the future construction and development. Around the theme about the pedagogy localization study under learning Soviet Union background, the author applying the literature and history methods investigated the factors of learning from Soviet Union in the early yeas of country founding, trimmed the basic structure and situation about the birth and growth of Soviet pedagogy, explored the Chinese pedagogy scholar’s efforts in the study of pedagogy localization, and also revealed the inspiration in the process of pedagogy localization. Specifically, this article is divided into five parts:The introduction elaborated the reason and significance of this article, and summarized the related research about Soviet pedagogy localization and determined the research thought and method.Chapter one, first of all, from the international political environment and domestic reality discussed the inevitability of learning from Soviet Union.Secondly, according to the actual situation of Chinese pedagogy before the founding of the P.R.C. Analyzed the necessity of learning from Soviet union pedagogy.Chapter two describes situation and problems of Soviet union pedagogy in China. The introduction of Soviet union pedagogy is not only the pedagogy discipline itself and its related discipline. This chapter settled ways and means about the introduction and summarized the problems in the process of introduction.Chapter three analyzed the exploration of pedagogy localization deeply. The researchers realized that complete copy does not really solve problems of China’reality. They had acquainted themselves with the importance of pedagogy localization and made great efforts to it, especially on Kairov’s Pedagogy. But, hyper-correction made pedagogy localization to a misunderstanding.Chapter four aiming at the problems appeared in the process of introduction of Soviet union pedagogy and mistakes of localization in our country, revealed the enlightenment of the introduction about Soviet union pedagogy, and also had a reflection of pedagogy localization.
