Aesthetic education plays an important role in the compulsory education period,and its value and function for the overall development of students cannot be replaced by moral education,physical education and intellectual education.Children at the compulsory education stage are the key period of aesthetic education,and children at this stage have a different perspective from the adult world to discover beauty,create beauty and feel beauty.It is of great value and significance to combine folk dance culture to better educate aesthetics in the teaching of dance in primary and secondary schools.In this paper,we explore the value of folk dance aesthetic education in the quality education of primary and secondary schools by analyzing the concepts of "aesthetic education" and "folk dance education" based on Yunnan minority dance education culture.The study also investigates the overall situation of Zhuang dance education in primary and secondary schools in Guangnan area through a survey method,focusing on the teaching mode,students’ learning conditions,teaching facilities and teachers’ qualifications.It is found that the dance education curriculum in primary and secondary schools in Guangnan has been enriched and the integration of multiple disciplines has been promoted,but there are still a series of problems in the process of development,such as insufficient innovation,single teaching mode,insufficient attention of students,and incomplete teaching facilities.This paper combines Zhuang dance culture and the concept of quality education dance,and develops the curriculum design with the themes of hand towel dance,copper drum dance,paper horse dance and straw man dance.In order to better explore how to promote the function of Zhuang dance in aesthetic education,this paper designs the curriculum from two aspects: the content of Zhuang dance curriculum and the teaching evaluation methods,and creates four types of curriculum content: appreciation class,dance creation class,classroom exhibition and integrated teaching,and proposes various classroom evaluation methods to ensure the effective achievement of teaching objectives.The aim is to provide a reference for Zhuang dance education and aesthetic education in Guangnan area and help the development of dance aesthetic education in ethnic areas.
