From the aspect of teachers and students in primary and middle schools, teaching resources are important reference materials and assisted ways for teaching and learning. The teaching and learning performance will be improved with better use of teaching resources. Meanwhile, with the continuous development of information technology, an increasing number of teaching resources are turning from tangible resources, which are conventional, to online resources that are digital and dependent on the internet. At the same time, with the explosion of resources on the internet, including teaching resources, people are increasingly used to searching with search engine for the information they need. With search engines, teachers and students in primary and middle schools can get access to teaching resources, such as test questions and courseware, or with the internal network system to visit the internal resources saved in the school’s internal database. However, since the number of resource websites is unbelievably large, teaching resources on some of the websites are out of date, blindly categorized or paid download, which is unfavorable for the teaching and learning of teachers and students, especially those with inadequate internal resources to make use of.This thesis gives a brief introduction of the basic principle and related technology of Python. In order to solve the problems cited above, a Python program is shown in this thesis, the aim of which is to enable web crawling, page parsing and resource download, etc. on target resource websites.
