The sex ratio in the population structure of our country is seriously unbalanced, and the economic disparity between urban and rural areas is great, and the movement of population gets more frequent. In addition, there is the phenomenon of marriage Squeeze, which makes the problem of the leftover men in rural areas more prominent. The problem of rural leftover men is not only a personal problem, and it will eventually become a serious social problem if left unchecked. It will become a major hidden danger to the local rural social stability, will lead to crimes increasing, will bring a heavy burden on the social security of our country. Due to the various limitations of reality, there may be no way to thoroughly solve this problem in a short time, but the government should make efforts to let those leftover men in rural areas feel the hope, so as to ease their inner high pressure, only by this can the society be more harmonious.In addition to the introduction, this paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter introduces the seriousness of the Leftover men in the L village, and presents the current marriage situation of L village under this background, including the big gap in quantity between men and women, the increase of marriage payment and the girl’s position promoted after marriage. At the same time, the Leftover man adopts the marriage strategy of lowering their standards and early marriage in order to get married.The second chapter introduces the formation reasons of Rural areas Leftover men and the coming problems. On the formation reasons which mainly include the deformed births ratio, the slowly growing of rural income, the marriage payment beyond Leftover men’s ability, the loss of rural girl and the marriage squeeze under the economic gap between urban and rural areas. For the growth of marriage payment, investigating the influence of the judicial interpretation of the new marriage law. And about the questions brought by the Rural areas Leftover men, it affects the leftover men themselves and the social order in the short term, and will add burden to our country social security system in the long term.The third chapter attempts to put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems. Having given the solutions for the mainly three aspects of the government, society and leftover man, The government should focus on coordinating the sex ratio at birth and narrow the gap between urban and rural developments, and in order to ease the present leftover man problems, can try to lead legal transnational marriage; The society encourages to establish the non-profit organizations for giving service to the leftover man; For the leftover man himself, it is the key to solve the problem, to reiterated the truth that their fate can only be changed by themselves.In the conclusion part, it writes the insufficient of this paper and expects that the follow-up studies will improve.
