This study is based on the three aspects about middle school students as the critical period in the form of physical exercise behavior, exit the phenomenon is prominent, and the lack of physical exercise, basis on exercise psychology theory, using the literature material law, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics and other research methods, the stratified random sample of Shanghai five counties, the middle schools(male 545, female 545)1162 middle school students exercise commitment and physical exercise behavior survey, Shanghai middle school students exercise commitment level of each dimension, physical exercise behavior of the overall situation, and the relationship between exercise commitment and physical exercise behavior, provide theoretical basis for the study of the students exercise commitment, for middle school students to form a good habit of exercise participation and cultivate lifetime sports consciousness has important practical significance.The research results show :1 Shanghai middle school students exercise commitment level as well as sports fun dimension, participation opportunity dimension score is significantly higher than average, in personal input dimension, social dimension, choose dimension score was significantly lower than the average.2 Shanghai middle school students exercise commitment level and five dimensions there are significant differences between the sexes, and boys are higher than girls; Exercise commitment level and social constraints, involved in opportunities, participate in the selection of dimension were very significant difference between grade.3 Exercise time, exercise frequency and exercise intensity and exercise adherence of middle school students in Shanghai have significant differences between the sexes, boys are better than girls. Exercise time, exercise frequency and exercise intensity and exercise adherence have significant grade differences.4 Different exercise time, exercise frequency and exercise intensity and exercise adherence of middle school students in Shanghai commitment and different dimensions have significant difference, the longer you exercise every week, exercise more, exercise intensity and exercise adherence is higher, the greater the commitment and exercise each dimension score, the exercise commitment level is higher, and there is significant difference.5 Shanghai middle school students exercise commitment and each dimension and physical exercise behavior index were very significant positive correlation. Middle school students exercise promises and each dimension can be predicted through the exercise time, frequency, intensity and adherence to effectively predict the exercise behavior, which, in exercise time, frequency, intensity and insist on function biggest respectively the participation opportunity, participate in the selection, sports fun.
