With the development of modern information technology,a lot of things have been dubbed as the designation of “micro”. “Micro things” such as WeChat, microblog gradually come into our real life, which indicates the coming of “micro age”. With the leading of the characteristics of “micro age”, the micro class model characterized by the opening, fragmentation, micromation emerges at this moment. The emergence of micro class is the new change of teaching organization patterns triggered by the changing times,and the teaching system must grasp the pulse of the times and innovate. In terms of history in junior high school,the traditional teaching models in history have already been not suitable for the present history teaching and both the teaching methods and strategies should make corresponding changes. The introduction of micro classes and integration into class teaching of micro class will certainly become a new developing way in the field of education and teaching.Micro class, starting from the actual learning needs of the students, is a teaching way in which teachers center on a certain knowledge point in the process of education, and it is short.Though micro classes are advocated and practiced in universities,secondary vocational schools even middle and primary schools,the applied researches in micro classes are also further and further,it is unfamiliar to introduce micro classes into the traditional teaching process of history in junior high schools. Then what are the good influences of the micro classes in the process of history teaching in junior high school? Which rules should we respect in the process of using micro classes? How can we use micro classes reasonably in the practice of history teaching? All these are worth being investigated.There are three parts in this paper,which has a research in the effective application of micro classes in the process of history teaching at junior high schools. The first part is an overview about micro classes,including the origin,implication,characteristic,meaning and value,design philosophy and theoretical bases of it. there are also some analyses about some typical cases. The second part is the research in the practice and application of micro classes in teaching process of history at junior high schools,including the analyses in the present teaching situation and existing problems in history; the feasibility study about the practice of micro classes in history teaching; the specific application of micro classes in introduction,focus of key points,breakthrough of difficult points,thinking of the students and expansion of extra-curricular content. There is an example in the specific application of micro classes in history teaching,that is,The North Ethnic Cultural Fusion and The Culture of The Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties and The Transient Flourish of Sui Dynasty in PEP edition of grade 7. The third part isthe reflection and outlook of the effective application of micro classes in history teaching.
