Teacher’s professional life is that teachers in special education environment and their own professional field, with a specific professional, to constantly improve their professional level of development, improve the quality of life of himself and others and all practice activities. It is just the representation of teachers’ living process or condition under a certain education environment. As the important content of teachers’ lives, the professional life takes up most of time and effort in teachers’ life. The quality of professional life will affect teachers’ living conditions directly. Starting with the background of this subject, this paper discussed the significance of research on rural teachers’ professional lives and further clarifies the necessity of research rural middle school teachers’ professional lives, looked up and sorted out some literatures related to this subject, then conducted in-depth investigation and analysis on current status of teachers’ professional lives in three rural middle schools of Sihong county through questionnaires and interviews. Some problems were found in this process, and some specific suggestions were put forward further based on the previous research.The main parts of this study include:teachers’ basic information in the schools, basic information of the school, teachers’ professional lives attitude, education and teaching life, education and research life, teachers’ learning life and teachers how to manage their professional lives of three rural middle schools. Through analyzing the result of the present situation investigation.the writer finds problems in the following some aspects in this survey: low socioeconomic status of rural middle school teachers, light atmosphere of respect for teachers and education; teachers’ professional self development consciousness is weak, and there is no plan for their career prospects; monotonous and backward teaching methods; absence of deep introspection teachers’poor scientific research quality, absence of external supporting condition and clear learning objective and failure to utilize learning resources effectively. By analyzing, it is found that the reasons for these mainly include lower economic treatment of rural middle school teachers, significant difference, absence of external support and professional guiding for professional lives of rural middle school teachers, teachers’ weak self-development consciousness and low professional autonomy degree, absence of organization and mobilization of students learning ability. To solve these problems, this paper puts forward some suggestions:taking further actions to improve teachers’social and economic status practically, increasing the intensity of external support and guiding action of professionals, expanding network learning platform, providing teachers with more learning resources, requiring teachers to strengthen their professional self-development consciousness, developing vocational development planning and doing profound teaching self-examination and actively developing school-based training.
