Cooperative Learning is one of the most widespread and fruitful areas in modern education theory, research, and practice. Many studies on Cooperative Learning demonstrate it can improve learning proficiency of students and their motivation or affective factors. That is to say, cooperative learning is an effective teaching strategy and learning method. However, our existed studies pay too much attention to urban schools. Too many rural schools which condition is poor are neglected by our educators. The new curriculum reformation advocates it as an effective teaching strategy and learning method. Besides, cooperative learning has been successfully practiced in a rural school called Du Langkou .All of this makes the study necessary and meaningful.Five parts are contained in the dissertation. The first part explains reasons. Education gap between urban and rural citizen, existed problems in cooperative learning and inspiration of Du Langkou school. The second part is a review on former researches. The third part designs the whole survey, containing sample,methods and procedure. The fourth part is the focus of this dissertation, containing such as research results,analysis and discussion. The survey shows that teachers′attitude to cooperative learning is positive and practice is conscious. However, there are many problems in their practice as following:1. The way of making group.2. Evaluations and self-evaluations.3. Teaching contents of cooperative learning.4. Teacher-student relationship.How to develop the rural education and how to build up the rural schools is becoming more and more important so that we each of educators should pay much more attention to it . Because of this, some suggestions are given in the fifth part.
