So far, humans’information dissemination has undergone four stages, namely oral dissemination, words dissemination, print dissemination, electronic dissemination. Network dissemination is an important part of electronic dissemination. providing the fastest and the most convenient means in our era. It has been the fastest means of dissemination in humans’ history. It is characterized by global involvement, interactivity, hypertext, and so on. Currently, China is in the process of rapid Internet development, with 6,700,000,000 netizens and over 4,130,000 registered websites. Network has been integrated deeply in the economic and social development and the people’s life. It has been become a major means for people to learn sports information on line. So what female images are created in online sports dissemination is related to healthy development of China’s female sports cause. The paper, with the subject "research on the female images in online sports dissemination ", aims to explore characteristics of female images in online sports dissemination, advantages and problems with female image creation in online sports dissemination and reasons for and solutions to these problems.To reach the above research purpose, this paper has employed the research methods of literature research, case study, logic analysis and so on. This paper consists of five chapters. Chapter I is an overview of female images in online sports dissemination; in this chapter, the female are divided into the sports female and the non-sports female, which are discussed respectively. Chapter II describes the advantages and positive effects of creating female images in online sports dissemination. Chapter III describes the problems with female image creation in online sports dissemination; Chapter IV interprets the female images in online sports dissemination from the perspectives of feminism, consumerism, semiology and network ethics Chapter V provides the specific measures to create the healthy female images in online sports dissemination.The following conclusions have been made through the above research:1. Rich and varied female images have been created in China’s online sports dissemination, and a number of non-sports female images have been presented on line.2. The female have made full use of network’s technological advantages to build their own images actively rather than passively.3. Presently, female images in China’s online sports dissemination are dissimilated and tend to be entertaining, pornographic and vulgar, which is the result of the mass media and the consumerism culture combined.4. Joint efforts from related government authorities, the media, the audiences and the female are required to build the reasonable and healthy female images in online sports dissemination.
