Brainstorming, proposed by American creationist Alex Osborne, is a creative method which aims to produce an increasing number of original and unique problem solving means. It is often used with group discussion and encourages participants to put forward various of fantastic ideas as fast as possible. The participants can enlighten and inspire each other, thus the chain reactions of creative thinking are set off and new methods of problem solving form. This paper mainly discusses the application of brainstorming in classroom teaching in the Ideological and Political Curriculum of senior high school. Deep theoretical researches about the meaning, characteristics, application rules and main steps of brainstorming done, the paper combines brainstorming and the present situation of the Ideological and Political Curriculum of senior high school and analyses the necessity and operability of the application of brainstorming. At last, some real teaching practices are given, which present some problems existing in the application of brainstorming. But after deep research those problems are solved. The paper aims to provide senior high school teachers a new method of teaching, which can improve the effect of classroom teaching and can be a salutary lesson for the educational reform and creation. |
