Anyone who concerned about the education will think about such a question “What can you learned in school? ”. It is this question that we start a introspection on the view of traditional curriculum and teaching theory and expand the perspective to the hidden curriculum, which also is the basic internal reason why more and more scholars pay attention to the hidden curriculum.As a new subject in today’s curriculum field, the hidden curriculum is a reaction against the empirical study and scientific research of education and, the pursuit of educational activities of controllability and tendency of value neutrality within six, seventy time of twentieth Century. It shows a unrecognized component of the course before, and to promote the development of curriculum theory and perfect method from brand-new angle, diversification, reminds us pay attention to all kinds of undetected ways that students play an important role in the past.. The hidden curriculum find a new way to the comprehensive and harmonious development and explore a space to the theoretical research and practical exploration, open a new perspective window to the education. As a major problem which pay attention to student’s all-round and harmonious development in the field of curriculum studies, the hidden curriculum which has been widely recognized and accepted. Therefore, the curriculum theorists feel it is very necessary that study the hidden curriculum deeply.This paper will combine the high school ideological and political teaching and hidden curriculum, which summarizes the effectiveness of high school ideological and political teaching as well as the existing problems and the causes in current through literature review, comparative method. It also combing the hidden curriculum’s using the mechanism in high school ideological and political teaching, proposed the use of specific strategies and analyzed by exampling. In the last, this paper trying to explore the using problem of the hidden curriculum in high school ideological and political teaching through the interview survey that the analysis and evaluation of application effect of hidden curriculum of teacher, in order to providing reference for the actual high school ideological and political teaching practice.
