P.E. class is an important part of teaching system in all grades. While implementing quality education at a full scale, “human-oriented” teaching model has become the need for the P.E. class in the new era, and the requirement for carrying out The Decision of China’s State Council for Fully Implementing Quality Education. Based on the problems in the process of teaching, the thesis has proposed the concept of the delayed-correction teaching method and the hope for the preliminary research on this method among tennis learners. That is expected to improve their learning effect in P.E. class and thus enhance the teaching quality. The analysis on the effects of this method in two tennis teaching practices has been conducted in the thesis, and the following research results have been drawn. 1. Correct the wrong practice of hitting with elbow at different opportunities, since there is a remarkable gap if the error is corrected between 20~30min and between 10~40min.2. There is no clear difference when the error is corrected at different opportunities for the wrong chances of hitting. 3. No clear difference among the first three groups when correction chances increase for the wrong practice of hitting with elbow. 4. Clear difference is seen among the three groups when correction chances increase for the improper chance of hitting. 5. A better correction effect can be seen if the correction occurs 20~30min after the wrong movement in tennis forehand-hitting class; reminds can increase at the time of improper hitting rhythm, which can help the students grasp the hitting rhythm.
