In recent years, along with the continuous development of China’s economic level, people are constantly accelerating pace of life, work pressure has become increasingly aggravated, and burnout phenomenon has become increasingly common. Therefore, scholars have to incorporate them into the area of research, trying to analyze links between them and give their opinion. However, in many of these studies, a description of the specific groups of high school teachers is rare. In view of this, it will be 320 Hongta District high school teachers for the study, analysis of their work stress and job burnout status quo and explore the relationship between the two, and then come to its recommendations to improve the work stress and burnout, with a view to a contribution to its own strength for our stress and burnout research.Text is divided into three main parts: The first part is the empirical research. After Surveying tools for reliability and validity, analysis of the status of work stress and burnout Yuxi Hongta District high school teachers, and discuss the relationship between the two; the second part is a case study. Extraction 6 Yuxi Hongta District high school teachers on their work stress and burnout aspects of interviews, and then summarized on interviews conducted and concluded; the third part is the suggestions. Combined with earlier research, the author reasons on refining work stress and burnout, the local education authorities, schools and high school teachers were raised by the community a corresponding decrease stress, reduce job burnout recommendations.The results show that Hongta district high school teachers’ job burnout is not serious. The highest average dimension of job burnout is emotional exhaustion dimension, and the lowest sense of accomplishment dimension; Hongta District high school teachers’ operating pressure is on the middle. Operating pressure in the dimension of the highest average student academic pressure dimension, the lowest professional development dimension; Hongta District high school teachers in different age, gender, income, whether as the head teacher and teaching experience working under pressure and out of work burnout no significant difference; there job burnout Hongta District high school teachers in different school types significant difference; there is no significant difference in Hongta district high school teachers to work on different types of pressure out of school; work pressure has a significant job burnout to predict; interviews also showed that the greater the stress, the greater the tendency of burnout.
