In the previous researches on the working pressure of teachers, the research objectivesare mostly the teachers in colleges, universities ordinary high schools and primary schools,and teachers in secondary vocational schools are seldom mentioned. In recent years, thecountry attaches more and more importance to the vocational education, and the workingpressure faced by teachers in secondary vocational schools is more prominent. Therefore,the researches on the working pressure of teachers in secondary vocational schools are ofgreat theoretical and practical significance. This research takes the teachers in Chongqingsecondary vocational schools as the investigation objects, specifically analyzes theworking pressure situation and proposes some effective pressure-relief strategies in thehope of providing theoretical and practical guidance for the human resources managementin Chongqing secondary vocational schools.The first chapter of this paper mainly elaborates the research background and topicmeanings. Besides, it also introduces the overall paper structure, the key problems plan tosolve and research methods.The second chapter of this paper proposes the research achievements of relevanttheories on working pressure, including the traditional theories on working pressure,individual–environment matching theory, working requirements-control-supportive modeand Lazarus’ interactive theory. Moreover, it also involves the research overview onteachers’ working pressure source and influences of working pressure.Based on the theoretical analysis, the third chapter of this paper designs theQuestionnaire on Working Pressure of Teachers in Chongqing Secondary VocationalSchools through setting relevant quantitative index. According to the survey data andinterview data, first analyzes the influencing factors on working pressure of teachers inChongqing secondary vocational schools, then specifically dissects the five factors for theworking pressure source, and carefully studies the reactions of working pressure. Theconclusions are obtained as follows:1. Factors like gender, education degree, title and monthly income are irrelevant withworking pressure of teachers in Chongqing secondary vocational schools, while elementssuch as age, marital status, children status, working years and working position havegreater influences on teachers’ working pressure.2. The working pressure sources of teachers in Chongqing secondary vocationalschools mainly include five factors: job security factor, teaching security factor, interpersonal relationship factor, workload factor and work fun factor. In general, theoverall working pressure of teachers is high, and their major working pressure is jobsecurity, workload and teaching security, while the interpersonal relationship is the second,and the work fun is the least work pressure.3. The average value of overall working pressure reactions for teachers in Chongqingsecondary vocational schools is lower than the theoretical value. Here the psychic reactionof teachers is the largest, the behavior reaction is the second and the physiological reactionis the smallest.The fourth chapter of this paper specifically analyzes the current managementstrategies on the pressure relief of teachers in Chongqing secondary vocational schools first,and then proposes pressure-relief strategy suggestions from both school and personal levelswith the aim of providing effective solutions to relieve the working pressure of teachers inChongqing secondary vocational schools.
