In the period of social transformation, the urban new immigrants as an important participant of urban life play more and more important roles in the society. From the countryside to the city’s special experience makes they face two kinds of culture, conflict and fusion, as well as two kinds of moral. Moral education in the family of new immigrants highly reveals the continuity and fracture of traditional moral notion. This paper makes a systematic study on this issue.This thesis consists of five parts altogether. In the first part the author mainly elaborated the background of the research, research objective, research significance and research methods. The first chapter introduces the background of urban new immigrants and their survival circumstances. The second chapter illustrates the background of social transformation and the difficulties that new immigrant family is faced with. The third chapter the author adopted the interview investigation, observation and other methods to study the filial piety education, the continuity and fracture are described, and the author tries to analyze the cause of this kind of continuous and fracture. The fourth chapter describes the integrity education cognition and practice, combined with real case, revealed the inheritance and fracture of traditional moral notion.This study aims to arouse more scholars concerned about the city of new immigrant groups, to recognize the particularity of new immigrants, provides solutions to solve the current moral dilemma of urban new immigrants.
