In March of2013, Xi Jinping pointed out that "in order to achieve the China dream, wemust take the Chinese road, and carry forward the Chinese spirit, as well as unite Chineseforces", at the same time we must "constantly reinforce the material and cultural bases ofChina dream". As an important way of becoming the great rejuvenation of China, it isnecessary to solve China’s problems with Chinese thoughts, and with the Chinese culture toachieve China dream. In2005, owned by the Central Committee of the Communist Party, thework of "Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving College Students Ideological andPolitical Education"demonstrated that the majority of young people should “be educated inpatriotism education as the focus, deeply carry forward and cultivate the national spiriteducation.” Also shows that, the traditional culture as the foundation and manifestation of thenational spirit, its reasonable kernel has a certain value of ideological and political education."Filial piety" as the basis of ethics, and "filial piety" as a part of Chinese traditional culture,and "filial piety" as the nation’s traditional virtue, any of its historical stage of China arecomposed of youth moral education. Critically inheriting the traditional culture of filial piety,we may improve the contemporary college students’ moral quality, improve college studentsgratitude consciousness, and enhance their sense of social responsibility and the cultivation ofcollege students’ patriotism, then all of those provide a good material. While, mining Chinesetraditional culture of which are to the development of the times, adapt to the new period ofour party educational policy and easy for college students to accept the reasonable kernel, andit is also one of the effective ways to enhance college students of the national cultural identityin the background of western culture inpouring into the environment. Based on the aboveunderstanding, the sublation of the traditional culture of filial piety, combined with thespecific characteristics of college students, through learning the culture of "filial piety"provides some help for the moral education in colleges and universities.In addition to the introduction, this paper is divided into four parts. The first part isimplication of the traditional filial piety culture era. Through the analysis of the traditionalfilial piety culture, combined with the characteristics of the times to sum up implication of thetraditional filial piety culture era, and points out the moral education value of the traditionalculture of filial piety. The second part is the Chinese traditional culture of filial piety on moraleducation value. Proposing and demonstrating the Chinese traditional culture is the effectiveresource of moral education in universities and colleges. On the basis of that the traditionalfilial piety culture on moral education in colleges and universities has "four values". The thirdpart is the analysis of college students’ filial piety. By pointing out the college students’ filial piety morality problem, then analyses the cause of students’ filial piety problem from theaspect of family, society, school, etc. The fourth part is what is the way of Chinese traditionalculture of filial piety pours into moral education in colleges and universities.By abstractingthe traditional culture of filial piety, demonstrating the fertile justifiability and rationality intothe colleges and universities, so as to realize the value of filial piety culture on moraleducation in colleges and universities.
