Preschool is part of basic education, and has great positive significance for improving national quality. However, because of the limited investment of our government in preschool education for a long time, there are a series of problems in preschool development, which make it difficult for children to go to preschool. The development of private preschool alleviates the contradiction shortage of preschool education resources effectively, but with the development of private preschool, "high fees" "black kindergarten" and other issues caused by excessive market are becoming increasingly prominent. It is impossible to solve these problems relying solely on private preschool or preschool market, we must rely on government’s supporting.This article explains the necessity for the government to support development for private preschool, from the view of the connotation of private preschool and government support. It illustrates from practice of different regions in China for supporting the development of private preschool, and combines with the specific practice of Wen Zhou,Shan Xi and Guang Dong, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the practice,summarizes the shortcomings of government’s supporting the development of private preschool. It mainly about four problems: the errors of understanding of main government support, financial investment and distribution mechanism imbalance, educational supervision mechanism is not perfect, institutional constraints of the Private Preschool Education and other issues. Finally, according to the existing problems, it puts forward some advices about government supporting private preschool development.On the policy system, it suggests the Government to form a completed policy system,clear the responsibility of all levels of government to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of local governments. On the use of fiscal funds, the increased use of standardized, improves government financial support mechanisms for private preschool education. On the improvement of private kindergartens teachers, to strengthen the private kindergarten teachers to improve the welfare benefits of teachers. Finally, the article proposes that the government support for private preschool education were at the same time, adhere to both regulate and support, deepening educational reform, in order to form a complete scientific support model.
