Quality education, which has been noticed by scholars and somedepartments of government, is a hot field in these ten years. The qualities ofteachers are very crucial to the quality education. The psychological health isan important sign of teachers' psychological qualities. So improving the teachers'psychological health is an essential step to develop quality education.Based on the Symptom Checklist 90, Life Event Scale and Coping StyleQuestionnaire, the paper researched qualitatively and quantitatively thepsychological health state, negative life events and coping style of primary schoolteachers, who were chose from some primary school of Shaanxi province andHebei province. The studies show that:1.The psychological health state of 347 schoolteachers is better than that ofdomestic common people.2.Sex, age, teaching years, antecedents, governmental or not, workingconditions and salary of teachers' are the key factors affecting the level ofpsychological health among various groups of primary school teachers.3.There are differences in teachers' negative life events on sex, workingconditions, teaching years and psychological health level.4.Sex, age, working conditions have great effects on teachers' coping style.5.Negative life events, coping style and the psychological health levels of theprimary teachers' are closely related.
