A person should have good virtues; this is the fundamental to human beings with theadvances of society. In the process of the virtue development, primary school is a criticalperiod, because this period is the best time when good behaviors are to be fostered.Family education is an important component of all the human educational activities. Itplays a key role in cultivating primary school students' good virtues. And the methodsused in family education are an essential point. IF parents pick up democratic approaches,the family education will haye a good effect on formation of the students' good virtues. Ifnot, the students' body and mind will be badly affected, and the bad behaviors are easilyformed. Therefore, the conscious awareness of the great importance of family educationmethods and their implementation is significant to cultivation of primary school students'good behaviors.Based on the all-round view of family education, this article addresses theimportance of its methods to form students good virtues, and analyzes the influence ofthe methods upon behaviors of middle and senior primary school students throughrandomized sample. The article also proposes the strategy that parents should put muchemphasis on developing their children's good virtues and the suggestion how to carry outcorrect family education methods.The article can be divided into three parts.First, it researches the importance of family education methods to form students'good virtues. The foundation of primary school students' virtue and psychology researchindicate that to promote them to form good behaviors is the most effective method todevelop their virtues. Family education, especially, enjoy priority in it. So whether familyeducation methods are correct or not is directly related to the effect of family education.Second, it surveys and analyzes the impact of family education methods upon theprimary school student' behaviors. Statistics show that the ratio of the students who areput in the correct, called the democratic method, is below half. Among the incorrectfamily education methods, most parents adopt crude manners. Different influences resultfrom different family education methods. For example, the democratic manner will helpstudents from good behaviors, while the crude manner will cause some defects in their3behaviors. It is worth speaking that family education methods make a notable impact onstudent's behaviors such as protecting environmental cleaning, self-control, obeyingschool rules, doing housework, etc...Third, it points out how to apply correct family education methods to cultivateprimary school students' good behaviors, including enforcing the formation of students'good behaviors under the family environment; making parents know the proper familyeducation methods; improving parents' comprehensive qualities, which is key point ofapplication of the correct methods; creating a family surroundings, which is beneficial toboth children's education and parents' operation.
