College Students On Mental Health And Mental Health Status, Personality Traits Related Research

The aim of this research is to compile the scale of the college students' viewpoint of psychological health. This scale is suitable for present situation of college students in our country. And the aim is also to understand the characteristics and influence factors of the college students' psychological health. Initially scale into the college students' view of psychological health and the relation with not only psychological conditions but also the characteristics of personality. According to the rule of storming the psychological test, through interview made of thinking, topic editing, pretesting scale topic analyzing, etc. We made the scale of the college students' psychological health viewpoint, using the self-made scale and the scale of semantic analyzing of characteristics of personality (SD method).balanced emotion scale, We take 1067 college students who are random selected from the 5 colleges; Zhenzhou University, HeNan university ,HeNan Normal University ,JiaoZuo University, LuoYang Institute of Techology and LuoYang P.L.A. Foreign Language Institute,as scale survey interviews. The tested covers from Grade one to Grade Four, including the major of science, arts, agriculture, medicine, foreign Language, with the proper proportion of male and female. On the basis of this scale survey, through factors analysis, multivariate analysis of variance and correlation analyzing method. We come to the following conclusions:1) The self-made scale about the viewpoint on the college students' psychological health has better reliability and validity. The analysis of the reasons has shown that the viewpoint on the psychological health can be divided into three factors, including the standards; the influent factors and the methods which can keep psychological health, which on the whole can effect the condition of the viewpoint on psychological health.2) This survey discovers that college students realized not only the importance of but also some contents related to psychological health, and are realized of certain psychological health knowledge about the factors which influence psychology health and methods which keep psychology health has entered into college students' study life. However, these are still a little amount of college students who lack certain psychology knowledge.3) Condition of psychological health has a close relation to psychological health viewpoint. And its fundamental tendering is that condition of psychological health is well tested and that psychological health becomes much more perfect and correct.4) Different tested in the characteristics of personality don't have marked differences in psychology health viewpoint. But in the characteristics of personality, the vindication for psychology health method of adopted by introverted and extroverted students are different.
