The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan examined the new history textbook compiled by "The Commission for New History Textbook Making" and published by Mulberry Press ,and claimed it up to standard on April 3,2001, which makes the issue of Japanese history textbook become the focus of our country, Asia ever the whole world again. On peaceful today, what's the reason for doing that in Japan? What are the aim and the motivation? How to react it for us? The thesis gives a systematical analysis on the issues above. Through the synthetical use of the methods of factors' analysis, comparison, documentary inquiry, ect, the thesis comments on the issue of history textbook hi Japan from Congitudinal and crosswised angles.The thesis consists of three parts:Part One: the commentary on the historic changes of textbook system in Japan and the historic evolution of textbook issue;Part two: the probe into the inside story of Japanese textbook under the background home and abroad.Part Three: The summary consideration on international understanding and peaceful education and our reaction to the contradiction of today's peace and the damage of peace which is extended by Japanese textbook issue.
