The 21st century is full of competition. It requires the young people with higher personal qualities, which places a new challenge for the educators. Then how we promote the quality education reform, develop students' knowledge system, accelerate teaching efficiency and optimize the instructional strategy is a very important issue.The thesis makes a thorough analysis on how to choose and operate the instructional strategy in Chemistry teaching on the base of exploring the theory of the general instructional strategy. The aim of the paper is to help to improve and renew the Chemistry teaching as well as strengthen the Chemistry teaching's function in the development of science and human society. The thesis synthesizes separate opinions, make clear the intention, structure, character and classification of the general teaching strategy. At the same time, it combines actual teaching experience and clarifies the author's point of view. In other words, the paper is a real combination of theory and practice, in order to provide readers with reasons and ways to solve the practical problemsThe thesis can be divided into four parts. The first is the preface, the presentation of the question. The significance of the research if explained from three aspects. Then comes a main statement of the general instructional strategy. And the third part is about the bases of choosing and operating teaching strategy in Chemistry teaching and an introduction of the construction and the application of three kinds of instructional strategies in the Chemistry teaching with real cases. At last, there's the conclusion of the thesis in the last part.The issue not only about "why should we do", but also "how should we do". The cases in the thesis come from my own teaching experience, which have been tried and improved after further study of the relative theory. These case studies have gained satisfactory effects and received high praise from experts, other Chemistry teachers and students. It's hoped that the thesis could offer some help for the research and application of Chemistry instructional strategy.
