| Being a new web-based teaching method, Distant-control experiment features "Virtual (device panel) - Actual (hardware equipment) - Real experiment scene". With all advantages of both simulating experiment and virtual experiment, it has furthermore provided a more realistic feel of conducting experiment in the actual laboratory, therefore produced great significance in the web-based experiment teaching and called attention in the universities in and abroad.To explore a new experiment teaching method on the Internet, to develop basic techniques for control instrument and conduct experiment remotely, a distant-control experiment system based on double client-server structure is designed and developed in the paper, by using digital signal average experiment as an example. On the hardware, the Noise generator, Adder and motor driver are produced. On the software, the programs of client computer and experiment computer are written in Lab VIEW "and various functions have come true - communication with Signal Generator through the serial port, control of the motor driver through the parallel port, real-time acquisition of the signals by the sound card and Internet communication by TCP/IP technology. The transition program of the server is written in C language "Tie real-time camera video capture used to live broad what is happening in the laboratory is realized with InetCAM, and the home page of the experiment system is designed with Dreamweaver and Flash.Distant students are allowed to operate the signal generator, adjust the knobs of the noise generator and adder in our laboratory via Internet, and after selecting the times of cumulative mean and pressing the "Confirm" button, they can observe primary composite waveform, the cumulative mean waveform and the real-time video capture of the rotation of the knobs through a video camera So the students remotely conduct the digital signal average experiment with the feeling of conducting experiments in the actual laboratory. |
