For the sake of the instant need for talents of this learning society, this paper put forward a term "autonomy in learning" . What's more, we take it as main object to find students' differences of autonomy in learning and teaching strategies which lead to those differences, especially, which are good for the development of students' autonomy in learning. With literature analysis, this paper tells the origin, development, concept, students' development in this aspect and some researches on teaching strategies which are good for the development of students' autonomy in learning and so on. Based on these, some hypothesis strategies which are good for the development of students' autonomy in learning are put forward. And based on the hypothesis, Teaching Strategies for Students' Development of Autonomy in Learning Questionnaire is proposed. Taking both the students and their teachers as objects, Firstly, we, with the Autonomy in Learning Questionnaire, make investigations on the students to quest the differences of different students' autonomy in learning, including the students in different grades, different classes, different sexes and different schools; after that, we make investigations on the students' teachers of different classes and different schools, prove our hypothesis strategies, and then we find that it has tight relations with students' autonomy in learning. In addition, for the sake of the shortage of quantitative research, we use qualitative research including observation, interview to prove the researching hypothesis and supply the hypothesis strategies. Then, with the method combined by literature analysis and practice research, quantitative research and qualitative research, we make some conclusions as follows: (1)In Middle School, the students of Grade Two are better than the students of Grade One in autonomy in learning, but the difference is not significant. (2) In the same grade, female students are significantly better than male students in autonomy in learning. (3)In the same grade, in the same school, the students with higher scores are significantly better than those with lower scores in autonomy in learning. (4) Inthe same grade, in different schools, the students of key Middle School are significantly better than those of common Middle School in autonomy in learning. (5)We find some teaching strategies which are good for the development of students' autonomy in learning.
