U.s. Primary And Secondary School Principals Licensing System And Its Revelation

Licensure and certification institution for the headmaster is a system that is established by the department of education in order to cultivate headmaster who can exercise both leadership in teaching and professional ability in administration .The system includes a set of well-organized plans for headmaster training, selecting, induction training and in-service education .What is more , evaluation for principals and the management of certifications are parts of the system. In the worldwide countries who choose and establish the institution, America does a better job than others. So in the thesis the author employs several approaches such as comparative method, document method, analytic method, element methods and so on in order to probe into the system in America , Which can provide some inspiration for our countries' principal certification reform.The thesis consists of four parts:Preface: This part is mainly about the meaning of the topic, the present condition and the methodology of this study, and the definition of licensure and certification for headmasters.Part one: The process of gaining licensure and certification for headmasters in America. In this part ,how to evaluate the headmasters and how to manage the licensure and certification are illustrated.Part three: Characteristic analysis of licensure and certification institution for headmaster in America. On the basis of all, the author concludes the characteristic the system in America, and also puts forward some suggestions on completing qualification identification for headmasters of China.
