Based On Ip Multicast Network Multimedia Teaching System

Internet leads modern communication technology into a unified IP network by integrating all kinds of communication methods. Internet has already gradually developed from a single data transfering network to a integrated network that transfer multimedia such as data, audio, video. Its application fields spread continuously. It seems that network can do everything. In fact, increasingly enormous network services start to bring huge crisis such as exhausted bandwidth over internet. Due to ip multicasting communication technology can effectively alleviate bandwidth bottleneck, so applications based on ip multicast has been thinked much of more and more.The paper analyses the technology of ip multicast communication, states ip multicast address project(precept), distributing tree, ip multicast route protocols, and ip multicast conditions, provideds multimedia teaching architecture based on ip multicast, optimized design. Also in this paper using ip multicast technology by aiming at actuality, analysing requirement and with a view to development and new breakthrough, to build a consistent media integrated teaching application platform and a uniform network support based on ip multicasting, plans multimedia teaching architecture based on ip multicast. These can also direct the following pratice in this field later. Owing to network architecture based oh ip multicast puts new many characters to multimedia teaching system, thus it provides the possibility to realize the new character. These new characters include interactive on-line, multi-dimensi on interactive, real time transmission and integrated media and so on.In this paper, it provides the technology ways of application programming and security means referred by multimedia teaching system based on ip multicast, especially putting forward detailed analysis anddesign on deploying on campus and realizing on internet, and realizing it on test network.
