Curriculum Resource is an important concept of curriculum theory. With the development of curricular reforming of basic education, the importance of curriculum resource becomes to emerge. People began to understand that it would be difficult to realize the great goal of innovation of basic educational curriculum without reasonable development and effective utilization curriculum resource. The study of curriculum resource is still in its introducing stage, mature fruits are rare. In this essay the author integrates the existent surveys and analyzes different elements and levels, such as the concept, characteristics, classification and construction of curriculum resources.In this thesis, the questionnaire is designed to investigate the development and utilization of biology curriculum resource in particular areas of China. The questionnaire includes two aspects: first, it investigates the awareness of curriculum resource of middle school teachers to figure out their curriculum resource recognition; second, it researched the situation of usage and development of middle school biology curriculum resource to analyze teacher's ability to utilize. The result shows that the teachers have low awareness of curriculum resource, many conditional curriculum resource are left unused. In a word, the current situation of development and utilization of biology curriculum resource are not positive.On the basis of above survey, the author brought forward advises on how to use and develop middle school biology curriculum resource .1. To reinforce studies both on theory and practice in order to offer academic basis for teachers.2. To strengthen training to improve awareness of curriculum resource of teachers as well as to improve their ability to develop and utilize curriculum resource and then to convert the situation of low exploit rate.3. To develop human curriculum resource among teachers to develop the function of human curriculum resource.The author also gave advises on development and utilization strategies for academic discussion.
