According to the characteristics of assessment subject and object, the thesis defines the implication of students' assessment of classroom teaching in higher education. On the basis of the implication and by analyzing current criteria of students' assessment of classroom teaching in higher education, the thesis points out many exiting weaknesses of theirs, forms the theory framework of design of assessment criteria, carries on the practice of design of assessment criteria by applying scientific methods and establishes《assessment criteria of classroom teaching of liberal arts curriculum in higher education (used by students)》. By the practice of applying the established criteria, the thesis then illustrates that the assessment implementation includes three stages: information collecting, processing and feedback. The thesis also proposes four implementation strategies confronting the current realities of implementation of students' assessment of classroom teaching in higher education. Finally, the thesis states the definition and meanings of meta-assessment of students' assessment of classroom teaching in higher education and gains important enlightenments by the practice of meta-assessment.
