The outline of my paper is shown as the nether sketch map, just like a camera on a tripod. The first knighthead is II (The ontological research on textbook). Proceeding from textbook's development history and relative ontological research, I analyse the attribute of textbook and check the position of textbook in education dialectic, then 1 draw the conclusion textbook is a kind of core text in school education and a synthesis of its built-in theory system, expression system and exercise system. The second,shore is III (An analysis on "assessment"), I analyse the original sin of assessment (testing or evaluation), that is the inherent assumption of science, authority, objectivity and exclusiveness on assessment. Then I point out the inevitable developing trend of going from assessment to analysis. The third upholding pole is IV(The reflection of the current research on textbook evaluation and analysis).In this section I reflect the analyst choosing, analysis principles, analysis viewpoint and analysis method of textbook on the basis of introducing the current textbook evaluation and analysis theory. Then I bring forward my own conception on textbook analysis: textbook analysis is a kind of fundamental analysis, which will judge whether the contents and form of a textbook is right or proper; textbook analysis is also mainly a kind of adjustability analysis, which will judge whether the textbook is suit to the study of students by collecting information and data of textbook's content and textbook using; textbook analysis is also a kind of development analysis, this part of analysis is to judge whether the textbook is suit to the future of society and students. Then the camera is I (The exploration of textbook analysis index). In this part I put forward some concrete index of textbook analysis on the basis of former research(II,III,IV) and V(The background of a country or region's politics, economy, society and culture). Meanwhile it is obvious that every subject textbook analysis has its own particularity, so I make a concrete textbook analysis work on American and Chinese social studies textbook in the view of comparative education research. This work shows my textbook analysis more clearly to reader.
