Personality is the theme of new era, so personality choice and development becomes a important topic. As a special stage, Senior high school makes a positive response. Curriculum reform in senior middle school is going on intensely. Specific administrative system is needed for new curriculum system to which academic year system is too inflexible to adapt. Credit system, which measures study on credit, helps to educate according to different individuals. It makes curriculum reform practical, realizes the aims of quality education and meets the need for various talented minds in market economy. The thesis tries to discuss the theory and practice of implementing credit system in senior middle school. It is divided intofour parts.Part One: IntroductionIt presents a brief account of the intention of the research.Part Two: What is Credit SystemIt combs the origin and development of credit system as well as characteristics. And it makes a brief analysis of the background of society and education , leading to the problem of implementing credit system in senior middle school in China.Part Three: Credit system and senior middle schoolIt mainly discusses the theory of implementing credit system in senior middle school. It's said that students should be granted selective right. Implementing credit system in senior middle school conforms to educate based on different individuals and makes a new round of curriculum reform practical.Part Four: The practice of implementing credit system in seniormiddle schoolIt points out the way of implementing credit system in senior middle school. Among them, selective system is the key, which sets up required courses that are divided into different styles, restrictive course and selective course. It changes the situation that all students learning the same difficult courses fall into hopeless straits. With measures such as exempt from courses, credit accumulation point, it virtually realizes the aim of be easy for students to go to school and take jobs.
