The existing of society determines social consciousness. Moral education is also the reflection of existing of society. An Era full of tolerance and choice has appeared in pace of development of social civilization and expansion of personal subjective spirits. So we should examine minutely the mission of moral education in this epoch. Marginalizing and disorder of moral, which show not only the crisis of moral education but also the turn for better, are the"refraction" which is reflected in the course of social transformation. The thesis put forward moral education should be transformed from "norm world" into "meaning world" . The thesis consists of four parts:Part I . The arising of question and the definition of the basic concept. The thesis analyzes the origin of moral education' s crisis and points out moral education should be changed in its ideas and practices with the transformation of society pattern. However, the present moral education, which is based on the traditional ideas, aims at strengthening individual' s absolute obedience to the society, and neglects the development of person' s inner virtue world. So people often lack understanding to the ultimate aim of moral education. The turn for better of moral education lies in practically fulfilling its epochal mission. That is to say, moral education should construct not"norms world" but the personal inner "meaning world" .Arete and norm, moral norms and disordered moral, "norm world" and "meaning world" , these three pairs of concepts will also be expounded theoretically in this part.Part II. The questioning to the true essence of moral education. The thesis inspects the historical origin of moral' s emerging and puts forward that moral shouldn' t restrain human beings, but meet man' s need. The probability of moral education is that it can provide a value-led environment and promote the cultivation of individual virtue. The thesis also reveals the values of moral education from three dimension. We should pay more attention to the individual value, noumenon value and enjoyable value.Part III. The generation of subject' s "meaning world" . First moral education should awaken the people' s conscience by motion-role undertaking, role-acting and making allowance for others. In the same time, an effective institution should be provided to ensure a good atmosphere. Last, moral education should guide people to pursue happiness that is just the impetus by which people construct their "meaning world" .
