Nowadays, our education is in the historical transition from " examination education " to "quality education " . For writing teaching in middle school , the quality education aims to the students' full-scale development of the personality , intelligence and writing ability , which will adapt them to the need of society . In order to achieve the goal, we must change our concept on writing and overcome various defects brought by the closed writing teaching , and search for new teaching tactics . This paper , which puts forward the assumption of "open writing teaching " and starts with investigating the essence of writing teaching , makes a thorough and detailed research of its implementation.The paper is composed of an introduction , a main body , including five parts and a conclusion .The introduction puts forward the topic and presents the rough structure of the paper , by analyzing the current situation of writing teaching .Part one clarifies the basic meaning of open writing teaching , by investigating the essence of writing teaching .Part two expounds the theoretic basis from the perspective of philosophy and educational psychology .Part three clarifies four principles If open writing teaching , which are based on the goal to guide the application of the methods .Part four discusses how to operate open writing teaching . It approaches comprehensively to the implementation from five aspects : that of educational idea ,content ,space ,method and appraise .Part five puts forward the self-openness of the writing teachingresearch . It points out that the reason why the research hasn't been deepgoing is the self-closedness of writing teaching research to the relevant subjects and the world .Conclusion points out the open writing teaching is an attempt guided under the new educational concept and expects the prospect of further investigation.
