| Commence to proceed the teaching research from the teaching mode is the main direction of education reform in recent years .The teaching mode is a theory to design and organize teaching. It combines teaching method, organizing form and teaching means etc. Thus to form a bridge between teaching theory and teaching practice. It urges people to investigate many factors and steps in teaching process, to break the frame of original teaching theories which can be applied to the teaching process, and to acquire good teaching result.This paper will take up the following 3 points one by one.(I) The teaching mode applied to the request of quality education is an inevitable request of self-development of politics. The traditional "teacher-central" mode is out of accordance with "student-central" mode. They escape from teaching and learning, and don't match the objective request with the self-development of children. They are difficult to embody the spirit of the contemporary education in overall development. Thus, we need to absorb the advantages of these two, improve them and blaze new trails. In recent years, educators create many efficient teaching modes, but because of suffering from "educating for exam", "they are all made to belong to the systematic teaching and book knowledge studying, and is another form of this teaching mode". This mode played a positive role in education while the level of science, technology and economy was underdeveloped. But today, since the technology hasdeveloped quickly and the knowledge has been enlarged rapidly, this teaching method can't play the role of overall developing humans' quality. Students' accomplishment of moral character, master of knowledge, shaping of skills, development of intelligence and training of personality demand the construction of new classroom teaching mode.(II) The independent study teaching in politics lessons is revealed from four aspects: Theory basis, teaching aim, teaching procedure and basic request about those teachers and students. Theory basis consists of Marxist cognition and practice, modem education theory, theory of quality education, theory of life education, theory of corpus education and the position and characteristics of politics in middle school. The teaching aims of the mode consists of Two: to cultivate students' spirit of active exploration and to cultivate students' ability how to learn in all one's life. The teaching procedure consists of four main courses: (1) to set up teaching circumstance and to optimize teaching aim. (2)to direct students how to learn; students master knowledge. (3) to develop migration ability; students learn to bring new ideas and to make use of new knowledge. (4) to give students scientific evaluation; to benefit from teaching and learning at the same time. The mode have two basic requests about teachers and students.(III) The strategies of this teaching mode mainly contains: 1.realize the democratization of politics teaching, form independent study classroom. 2.develop the ability of cognition, help the students study strategically. 3.enhance the thinking training, let the students leam abouthow to think. 4.make the classroom structure perfect, let the students become the owner of study. 5.strengthen the training of students reading ability. 6.set up the teaching interaction mechanism, give full play to the dynamic role of the teachers and students.Teaching has methods, but no certain ones. The teaching research of our predecessors promoted the development of our education. Today, while carrying on and criticizing the traditional teaching mode, we set up a new teaching mode, whose purpose is not a guarantee to cure all diseases, but to beak the old teaching ideas, pour vigor into the classroom teaching.
