Network Courseware Design And Development Research

With the rapid development of computer and information technology, and with the unceasing application of Internet, a reformation is proceeding in the instructional and learning field. At the times of network, informational society is driving instructional innovation; a new instructional and learning pattern is coming into being. Therefore, the design and development of courseware in this new pattern differs from that in traditional pattern.The instructional software that have specific course content and run by network especially by Internet are called network-based courseware or web courseware. The design and development of web courseware involves three methods, which are software engineering, instructional design, and web-based instructional platform. We should pay attention to the idea and method of instructional design during the time of making-up web courseware.Web courseware possesses its own functional framework and application model. The design principles of web courseware must be in terms of instructional design, interface design, web-based instructional features and so on. The representation structure of web courseware should be well planed and arranged, so that presents learners pages with perfect unified of contents and appearances.Different subject has different request. According to the idea of instructional design, this research attempts to develop the web courseware of English course of Grade one in junior middle school partly; to interpret ate the establishment of teaching and studying activities in the light of three cases, and further, the paper infers the important significance of creating self-decision studying activity.
