Muke is the Chinese transliteration of MOOC. MOOC is the short form of Massive Open Online Course. MOOCs’ characteristics are massive, open and online. 2012 is the first year of MOOCs, 2013 is the first year of MOOCs for our country. In recent years, the national level and the regional level strengthen "excellent courses" construction, exploring providing better curriculum resources for learners via the Internet. At present, "excellent courses" have advantages to transform to MOOCs, in order to achieve transformation and upgrading. MOOCs could open a new way of education which adapting to global information times with its characteristics of low-cost education resources, high quality, facing to a wide audience, highlighting learning as the center, completely reforming instructional mode and education working mode, which conforming to the voice of education reform to a great degree. Middle School Science Instructional Design is a national level excellent course, and the values of excellent courses are the function of guiding and demonstrating. We realize MOOCs’ positive influence on Chinese higher education reform and we want to rely on this wave in order to extend the course to more learners and researchers, to wider platforms, to significantly reduce the cost and threshold for learning this course. There are a lot of preparations to do before the MOOC course being online formally. The author aims at parts of contents of Middle School Science Instructional Design to do MOOCs’ courseware design study in order to do some basic preparations before the MOOC course being online formally. Mainly uses literature research method to study.This article firstly introduces c MOOC based on connectivism and x MOOC based on behaviourism, and then respectively does relevant concepts definition, such as courseware, instructional design, courseware design and middle school science. Secondly doing previous analysis of MOOC courseware design for Middle School Science Instructional Design, discussing purposes of previous analysis earlier, and then discussing contents of previous analysis, containing learner analysis, instructional targets analysis, teaching contents analysis and learning evaluation design, also stating the major meaning for each analysis in MOOC courseware design. Next doing exploring and doing practice for MOOC courseware design of Middle School Science Instructional Design, firstly stating target design, strategy design and teaching evaluation design in terms of instructional design, and then respectively listing cases of declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge in terms of courseware design and fabrication. Lastly I state MOOCs’ instructional suggestions for Middle School Science Instructional Design.
