All students have the experiences of success and failure in the course of study. Some are, consciously or unconsciously, inclined to seek the reasons. How to understand the reasons will affect their motives of achievement, and thence their achievements of studies. A reasonable attribution will help to motivate their studies and develop a correct sense of study. Of all the factors affecting the attribution, the environmental factor 鈥?the classroom achievement goal orientation is supposed to have a direct impact on the attribution. Therefore, this thesis is meant to study the influence that the determination of the physics classroom achievement goal orientation of the junior middle school has on the attribution to the success and failure in study, and the characteristics there of as well. This research modified "Attribution of scales" used at first, the opened questionnaire to study the reasons that the students attributed to the success and failure in study physics, then analyzing these reasons, I added both interesting and method factors, 110 grade-three and grade-four junior middle school students who were chosen to answered the questions I modified the reliability and validity of the resigned "Attribution of scales" it turned out this scales were qualified.472 grade-three and grade-four junior middle school students, who were chosen at random, answered the Attribution and the classroom achievement goal orientation of scales prepared for them. Relevance methods were used in analyzing the physics classroom achievement goal orientation of the junior middle school and the attribution of the success and failure in study. Variance and Tamhance methods were used in analyzing The influence of the physics classroom achievement goal Orientation of the Gunior Middle School has on the Attribution to the Success and Failure in study. To test the influence , the characteristics of the physics classroom achievement goal orientation and the attribution to the success and failure in study were studied, the followingconclusions were reached:1 .The classroom mastery goal orientation is of obviously direct relevance to the active attribution factors and of obviously inverse relevance to the passive attribution factors, whereas the determination of the classroom performance goal orientation is of obviously inverse relevance to the active attribution factors and of obviously direct relevance to the passive attribution factors.2.Different determination of the classroom achievement Goal orientation has different influence on the attribution. The determination of the classroom mastery goal orientation has its influence on the active attribution factors, whereas the determination of the classroom performance goal orientation has its influence on the passive attribution factors.3.Obvious sexual difference is shown both in the students' reaction to the determination of the classroom performance goal orientation and in that to the determination of the classroom mastery goal orientation.4.The difference between grades is not obvious in the determination of the classroom mastery goal orientation , but is obvious in the determination of the classroom performance goal orientation.5.The latitudinal difference between grades is not obvious in the attribution of success, but is obvious in the attribution of failure. The students of Grade 4 are more passive than those of Grade 3 in the attribution.6.Sexual difference is shown in the attribution of success and of failure. Men students are more active than women students in the attribution. From the above study, the following suggestions on teaching are resulted: Developing a classroom atmosphere of grasping goals, teacher should set up reasonable tusks and give a relative praise or chance of success to students . Teachers should guide the students to attribute correctly, they can apply circle of thought to attribution.
