Female College Students' Values ​​and Talent Development

With the improvement of the education received by women and deepening reform of the higher education in our country, the number of the girl students in the colleges and universities increases year by year. At present, girlstudent has been over the half of the students in Shanghai. Beside the common features of the college students, girl student has her own physical, psychological and moral characteristics different from the boy student. Therefore, we should consider the sexual distinction and attach great importance to the study of the rule of the sexual distinction when we are in the practice of the moral education research.The essay mainly discusses the development of the girl student and how they can become useful person and analysis the reason of the changes of their values by means of studying the features of those changes of the girl students since the 1980s. On the basis of the physical, psychological, ideological and moral realities of the girl students, I analysis the advantages and the disadvantages of their becoming useful people from the angles of society, culture and values. I seek the regular problems of the moral education and the rule of becoming useful person of the girl student.I do this research under the construction of Marxism, absorbing some results of the research of sociology and psychology. Especially by means of the social gender theory, I find that the greatest obstacle against the women's becoming useful person comes from the traditional thoughts which have prejudice and restrict on the women's social role and position. Other reasons are that women thought that their status should be lower than men should and they also haven't strong desire for becoming useful person. So I come up with the inner and quality demands for girl students-self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-strengthening.In the process of the moral education we should pay attention to and study the disadvantages that hinder the development of the girl students and find the solution. It is the psychological and job-choosing problems, among the problems girl students in colleges are facing, that have great to do with their becoming useful person and are the most troublesome and contradictory problems. So when we do such education, we should pay more attention to that. Though the specific help we construct girl students to face the society and themselves and make efforts to find the way of self-development and self-realization.Research of the rule of the sexual distinction in the moral education has significance to the girl students themselves and the whole society as well as reality and future.
