During the process of implementing the policy of family planning, some people became disadvantaged groups because they have born the cost of controlling the fast increase in population size. Chinese government should offer them the social assistance for the enormous sacrifice that they have made for the population policy. This paper focuses on the study of disadvantaged groups of family planning. This paper also discusses how to built the social assistance mechanism to assist the group.This paper includes five chapters:1. Introduction, which consists of the background of this research, relevant theories and experience, the definition of the research object, the main content and methods of the research.2. Characteristics and origin of disadvantaged groups of family planning. It includes the definition, the characteristics and the origin of the group.3. The research of disadvantaged groups of family planning about Yangzhou. The chapter researches detailedly three types of family in disadvantaged groups of family planning. These families include the family that has the sequela patient of surgery of family planning, the only-child family that the child has suffered disease or died and the family of family planning that is in poverty for disease.4. The building of the mechanism of social assistance and prevention to the disadvantaged groups of family planning. The discussion in this chapter combines the actual conditions of the place and country, focuses on the development process and the significance of social assistance of family planning in china. The paper tries to propose the suggestions to the building of this mechanism.5. Conclusion. The last chapter summarizes the main conclusions of this research, takes consideration of some disadvantages of this paper and prospects for further research in the future.
