This article adopts documents and materials, expert interview, questionnaire investigation, teaching experiment, and mathematics and physics statistic analysis, etc. many kinds of methods, to conduct a theoretical research on Microteaching in terms of its " theoretical foundations ", " teaching principle ", " categorized system of technical ability of teaching", " teaching program", "teaching environment", "teaching assessment", etc. so as to prove the feasibilities of applying Microteaching to professional teaching method lesson for PE majors in higher normal education. The teaching experiment shows that Microteaching helps to improve students' teaching technical ability even more than traditional teaching; The questionnaire investigation indicates that applying Microteaching method to the higher normal professional teaching method lesson for PE majors is more favorable to raise students' learning and innovation ability than traditional teaching; Moreover, through Microteaching appraisal form, students can improve in pinpointing problem, analyze the problem, solve the problem, and then ability of appraising, at the same time, students offer the abundant affirmation to Microteaching. By means of theoretical study and experiment, this article concludes that Microteaching is scientific and reasonable, good classroom result, harmonious teacher-student relationship, and promotes the teacher's teaching and research level.
