With the implementation of "the quality-oriented education" appealed by the National Educational Department, the mathematics education in our country is being carried on along the quality education trajectory. In view of mathematics, specially designated branch of learning, what is a mathematics quality? In the situation of the curriculum reforming, how to effectively pursue mathematics quality-oriented education is a big problem, which must be understood and solved by every math teacher. Mathematics quality includes mathematics knowledge, skills, methods of thinking, mathematics capability, mathematics concept and so on, which are acquired through learning based on inborn physiology, and which is a comparatively steady condition in one's mind. Mathematics quality, which must be obtained by everyone, is the significant component part of nationality quality. With the help of mathematics, morality, culture, science, technology and one's physiology and psychology can be analyzed to show their components and elements. Therefore, they become more standard and can be operated, measured and evaluated. A branch of science is not consummate until it successfully uses mathematics. The mathematics figure is a kind of consummate shape that the material world combines with mankind's culture. Mathematics is thinking gymnastics and thinking is the mathematics soul. In the course of thinking about and solving problems with the help of mathematics thoughts and mathematics methods, one's world outlook of materialism and scientific attitude are fostered. With the development of science, more and more branches of learning have got the fundamental feature of mathematics. Modern mathematics means are being used widely, so, scientists studying theory or ordinary workers have to know how to make use of mathematics means and thinking methods. Hence it is of great significance to strengthen the foster of students' mathematics quality. This thesis is mainly on the five aspects: the foster of the senses of figure and sign, the concepts of space and statistics, the consciousness of using mathematics , the capability of inferring and the abilities of collecting and using information and of communicating and cooperating with others. It talks about the importance of fostering mathematics quality in the classroom teaching, completely following the spirit of the curriculum reforming based on the concept of quality-oriented education. The education idea is that if everybody learns useful mathematics, he will gain the necessary mathematics, resulting in his development in mathematics. Hence, combining my experience and practice in teaching, I will try to elaborate the concrete ways to improve the mathematics quality.
